Hello...
I submitted my FLR application last 14th of December 2009. The next day, 15th, I received a confirmation letter from HO saying that they have already got my application. On the 22nd of December, I received another confirmation letter from HO...written just exactly the same as what I received except for the date it was written which is December 17. Im starting to get worried now because it has been more than a month since I have sent my FLR application to the HO and I still havent got any letter from them telling me to book an appointment for Biometrics.:Erm: My visa is already more than a month expired.
I would like to ask if this normally happens and/or if there is anyone who has the same experience like mine.
cheers!

.... I'd say that something's gone wrong.

U should have got a letter (with a reference number) within a week, asking
you to arrange a biometrics appointment at a relevant centre.

I'd suggest you call them, quote the reference number, and ask them to resend....
or (with that reference number), call a centre direct & book directly with them.

FYI .... from start - finish, our FLR took 12 weeks.

Thanks Bluebirdjones
... and one thing more, when my husband got his bank statement, the £465 fee for FLR application were already deducted from his account!:yikes: Yet they havent been in touch with me at all since i received a letter of confirmation from them:NoNo:. There is a part in the letter i received which says '...we would appreciate it if you did not enquire about the progress of the application before you hear from us. It is not possible to make enquiries in person about the progress of an application blah...blah...blah & blah...'
... sounds like we do not have the rights to ask EVEN if (obviously) the application costs too much!:NoNo:
