we are a bit confused here filling in the online application for fiance visa..

it seems you have to answer some questions before you get to the VAF4A form..

two being...

'how long are you going to stay in the uk for?'

and the other is 'what date will you leave the uk?'

how are you suppost to answer these questions?

they are impossible for us to answer but they are required fields. :Erm:

Never could understand the point of filling-in ANY application form online, :NoNo: as most ... if not all ... need a WRITTEN signature on completion in order to verify the answers to the questions asked!

Hi.

I went through the application for for fiancee visa (I printed another copy) and I can't find your 1st question in the form.

As for your 2nd question, I answered August 2000, as we applied on June 2009.

If ever I will be asked question 1, I would answer, forever. hehehe

it seems the application form has changed a bit from the one you can download.

if anyones interested i contacted vfs... apparently you put the date you will leave the uk as the exact date 6 months after the date you say you want to travel there on. even if you dont intend to leave on that date because you will apply for the right to remain.

and for the 'how long do you intend to stay' ... they told us to put 'indefinitely'.

seems weird to me but thats what they said.

Hi there Pumpkins!

You can either fill up the online application form , then print it
OR
just print the form first then fill it up (hand written).

I think the paper VAF and online application are merely options for us
applicants (for our own convenience). I remember sending an email to UKVACS about it and they said whichever way you submit your application (online or hand written) there's going to be no difference in processing time.

For me and my son, I chose to print it out and fill it up hand written, it will be easier for me to check (and recheck) my answers. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
