just asking if it is alright to send a cigarette from the philippines to here...just 2 cartoons?

i think customs will slap a charge on it and the reciever will end up paying just as much as they would here:Brick:

From outside the EU the limit for travellers is 1 carton. If its shipped independently I'm pretty sure there would be a customs charge or you'd get loads of people sending 1 carton at a time!
Customs charges will bring them up to roughly the same cost as they are here anyway!

NO, it is not allowed :NoNo: I have tried it. Post Office and Fed ex no chance.
Its one of the 'not allowed list' between UK and Philippines.

ooh i see...i never know about that..because when i was in US my sister sent me a 3 cartoon of cigarette and its fine...i never thought its not allowed in here...thanks

i came home 4 months ago....i had 4 cartons in my bag...i arrived at dublin....i picked my bag up....looked for the customs desk..no desk..i just walked out 4 cartons heavier....someone told me the customs in dublin r very easy going....everyone land in dublin with cartons...lol

recently my friend had her package send from the philippines here in edinburgh with two reams through the post office.

according to her mum, rules change from time to time. sometimes they allow 1 ream and just recently two reams. she said you can always ask the post office.
