I am happy to announce that on the 17th of this month Luke and I are getting married, at the Brown's Hotel in Mayfair, London. The forum has been a part of my journey since meeting my fiance, I have all documented on this forum how I started coming to UK. It is just proper to share this moment of my life to all those who believe and loyal to this forum.

I am so proud of my husband to be, and proud of his family who dearly cares and love me. Not a member of my family will be around on that day, but his dad will be walking me in the aisle....

I am alone but i have his family, his mom is making the cake, his sister's children will be the flower girl and ring bearers, the sis-in law will do the reading, and the rest of the family will be there supporting us. What more can I ask...

Sometimes I ask my self, how/why these beautiful things happening in my life.

On the lighter side I can't help but complaining and converting how expensive getting married here, I had cried on paying my 80 quid for my boquet, that amount would have covered the church and reception in the Philippines specially that I live where flowers are grown and distributed to the whole country (Baguio)

The only thing I had contributed in this wedding is my complains and tantrums of how expensive to sort everything out. The worst is, talking to the computer instead of people when dealling with suppliers. Everything is online.

I told my fiance that, if this is in the Pi all he has to do is be therein his suit.

At the moment we are finalising bits of pieces for the big day. all in all? it was planned in a month. Unfortunately my fiance is not a good planner and hates organising events. And lastly, my dress is not ready yet I went to check today and it just started the cutting. Good Lord!

But I have come far to this in my life, Im sure I will be wearing my wedding dress.

Thank you for allowing me sharing my story.

I did ask my friend what the feeling was like to get married. He paused for a second, and said "Imagine standing in a bank, with a big shovel. Shovelling all your money out into the street"
You just have no idea how much it costs..:REGamblMoney01HL1::REGamblMoney01HL1:

But may god with be with you both and have a great day. I am sure you will look great on the day and everything will come together. But if something goes wrong. Usually the flower girl needing shouting "I need a poo poo poo" when you are reading the vows. Smile. It is your day. Make it your day.
