I feel absolutely over my head as a newbie, and the forums can be quite detailed.
I would like to ask some, maybe, VERY basic questions, though for me as a Newbie, VERY daunting. I would be grateful for any help.
I have met a Filipino girl, I will visit her next month. If we get along, I will return next year and of course we will marry, in the Philipines.
1. I need a CNI... yes?
2. I've been divorced before, is this a problem?
3. What are the chances of bringing my (hopefully) future bride back with me to the uk after the wedding? I ask this because on the forums, I read that Spouse Visas can take 2 months or more. So is it normal to get married in the Philipines and have to come back to the uk, leaving the spouse in the Philipines? What if her Spouse Visa application is refused?
4. How much savings, if any, am I best to have in the bank to prove I am finnancially stable for the Visa application?
5. Is there any anything obvious that I am missing, or any other advice anyone has?
If any one could answer these questions, I would be very appretiative.
