for requirements on getting a marriage license, you can ask your local civil registrar for this... also, the british embassy website has a section on how to get married here...

You need to visit your local municipality civil registrar and ask list of requirements for marrying a foreigner.:xxgrinning--00xx3:

You need to apply CENOMAR, from NSO nearest you.

Your partner needs to get legal capacity to marry, his divorced paper if divorced etc.

Goodluck Cindy!

Welcome to the forum Cindy!
If he is divorce, he need to apply for the CNI(certificate of no impedement) ,get your CENOMAR (certificate of no marriage from the NSO, his and your birth certificate, aside from these you can get more relevant information in the previous post just be patient to use the search engine.

Where do u live in the Philippines?im from Abra and we are getting married this Oct. if God permits!

Good luck and best wishes!

He'll have to get a CNI from his local registry office whether he's divorced or not. If he is divorced he will have to take his decree absolute with him as well. He will also need his birth certificate.

Also ask him to book your appointment asap at the registery office they can be very busy

I agree, it takes 23 days for the release of the CNI and if he contacts them today he might not get an appointment for a few weeks, whe is he due to go to Phils?
