I have a long story to tell evryone ........:)

:)I m planning to submit a spousal visa application on the 3rd week of october at the british embasssy manila,
but i have a numerous concerns about it..coz I was refused twice and here the story goes......:)
My british husband and I have known each other since 2005.We have met each other and evidences to support this are enough- between 2005-2009.I just made the biggest mistake when I did not declare him on my first application for tourist visa because we broke up in the last quarter of 2007 the reason why i did not mention about him on my first application... I know its all my fault... :bigcry:

We became ok agen in Janury 2008 when he visited me agen in the phil and from then we got engaged....:cwm38:

-applied tourist visa in september 2007- refused due to financial circumstance/they noticed a recent large amount deposit in my account before my application.
-applied fiance visa in August 2008- refused due to failure to disclose information about my fiance in my first application.ECO said I shoud have mentioned about my bf in my proposed visit to uk. He therefore conclude that my relationship with fiance was not genuine as we claimed....

we decided to lodge my appeal but while the appeal is in progress we got married in the phil last March 2009.So I decided to cancel the appeal... and plan to submit a fresh application using spouse visa .......

And now I feel very nervous about it....I dont know wat to say on the application. Given the fact that Were now married...Do you think this would still matter to them that I lied b4.....But If Itell them about the shortwhile break up... Ahhhh I really dont know wat to say.... please.. help... please....

Welcome to the forum!! :) The key to successful spouse visa is to satisfy the ECO that your relationship is genuine,healthy savings accounts and lastly accomodation. You can click the searched function:rolleyes:.. As the requirements for spouse visa has been posted several times. Goodluck!

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your previous refusals. Not mentioning relationships with people in the UK when applying for tourist visas is something that has been discussed on here many times and your experience shows why it is important to mention them.

Now that you are married and assuming you meet all the requirements (financial, accommodation, etc) it is highly unlikely that you will be refused, though the ECO may call you in for an interview.

In terms of the time you spit up, as it was almost two years and you have since married it shouldn't matter. If you didn't mention it before don't mention it now if you don't have to as it was only for a short period (couple of months?) anyway.

anyayzzz i submitted ma tourist visa sponsored by ma bf in the UK just last wednesday last week...Im now scared cz u mentioned about u were denied coz of financial circumstance...Dam my boyfriend also added more money in my account as ell a month before i lodge my application....:omg:So im also gonna get denied here???:yikes::yikes::yikes:I even presented loads of evidences that e are together,he's still has an ongoing divorce and been separated 2 years already from his ex wife..Me,i also have an ongoing annulment procedures as well and i did emphasize that......

I asked some people here and some told me that it didnt matter how much you have in yah account if you're sponsored by a UK resident there,you just have to present yah sponsor's bank statements,wage slips and stuff..

:NoNo: never transfer large amounts of money to your bank account, not without writing in your letter of support the reason why you've done this and it better be a good reason :D, it looks very suspicious. if you need to do it, do it ASAP and wait til you have 6 months bank statements without showing the statement with the money going in your account, so you need to plan your evidence many months before you apply for your visa.

you said you lied to them, did they mention a ban in any of their refusal letters? there is no automatic mandatory ban for spouses, but spouses can be still be refused if the applicant has contrived to 'significantly frustrate' UK immigration law. but you will probably not be refused for this.

so make sure they have no reason to refuse for app because of the evidence you submit, good bank statements - non overdrawn, showing he has savings to support you 'without recourse to public funds' a place to live without it being over crowded and as much evidence showing your in a genuine relationship, and you shouldn't have a problem.. and never tell a lie, or you'll :Hellooo: your visa goodbye :doh

Sorry to hear about your visa refusal twice in a row.... i can understand how you must be nervous applying for the third time....
But just make sure that this time, you come up with all the necessary proof (from 2005 to present) to support the genuineness of your relationship....
And you being married now may also help....
And another thing, make sure you provide enough evidence that your hubby can support you financially when you get here.....
Those are the 2 major things you make sure to cover properly to satisfy and convince the embassy people.

Sounds like, they will check your application carefully. This is your turn to be true. Double check all you have written in your application. Be true, be humble and cheer up! Just bear in mind, you're a wife and you have the right to join with your hubby as long as you can provide all supporting docs.

If they still refuse your application, your husband has the right to make an appeal for your application.

to be honest it doesnt sound very good to me, remember when people say first impression are lasting impression? but dont lose hope you might get away with it as you are now married and having the evidences that support your application that may satify them to come up to a Yes. Unless you submit you wont know so just relax, and lets hope for the best.

..so I am not quite sure if this statement relates to your future application/s but then again this is entirely my own opinion. Everyone here are very helpful and I know they are all ready to share their views that will help you.

Sometimes, it's too hard to explain it personally especially if you're bothered, nervous, and confused. There are some spaces at the back of your application, you can explain to them whole heartedly. I understand this statement from the embassy is someting to be concerned about princess, but then again, its not the end for you,
i'm sure you will still have the chance to redo things all over again and make sure this time, you redeem yourself and do everything correctly, accurately and truthfully.....

The burden of proof lies solely on your hands now....you have to prove them wrong and make sure to back up all your claims with airtight proofs
you've been together from 2005 to 2009, that's more than enough time to come up with ample evidence of the genuineness of your relationship
such as photos, chatlogs, telephone bills or statements showing details of your conversation, text messages to each other,
letter or cards as well as receipt of money he sent you for the past 4 years.....and you being married now would probably help.....
and also make sure to provide an adequate proof of your husbands capacity to support you financially and his ability to give you proper accomodation when you get here...

It's very important that you establish the legitimacy and authenticity of everything you declare in your application flawlessly.....
Be very careful and be very prepared this time and make sure to cover everything, this may be your last shot, so there should be no room for error....

Sophie has more than summed it up, you have to remeber the ECO has to look for any suscpious items they may be genuine mistakes or oversights.

This time as Sophie and others right make sure you have all the evidence possible, bank accounts look ok and your hubbies accounts look ok. Plus you have a place in the UK suitable for you both. Look though your application and check and double check.

My cousin had the same situation like you what's worst was she lied to the ECO!:omg: ( She's been refused three times and on her 4th application it was a success) So be very honest with your application. I guess am lucky that I have found this forum. I got adviced from other members before I filed my application and whoala!!! Got my spouse visa in 22 days!

Good luck with your application. Don't lose hope and follow advice of being open and honest. That really is the best policy. My wife had a spouse visa refused 1st time but we got visa on appeal. Appeal was less than 3 weeks. Make sure you have many support letters from your husband, his work, family, friends and MP if he can get that.
