Hi there

just to let you all know and especially those applying for your first childs passport. Mt wife Deanna contacted me today and gave me all the info on her visit to the embassy.

She arrived there without appointment and was escorted by the security guard up to the Briyish Embassy. After checking all the documents and paying the fee for registraion and child passport (c2 Application) she was then taken to a small interview room. she was asked how long have you been married . Was her husband still in the philippines and other questions relating to our relationship and our child.

The embassy then told deanna to contact the embassy after 10 days and all should be ready for collection.

Deanna will go back for her visa appointment on the 30th October 2009.
I will keep you all informed of the progress sol far..................

:xxgrinning--00xx3:
10 days he'll have a Brit passport, better than paying £500+ for a settlement visa, and also a risk of refusal and the long process of appealing..

no need for a DNA test Ron ?

good luck, but i'm sure he will not need it :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Yes i think i gave more than enough proof with references from clients to say that im doing on going work through the winter. In the summer i remember complaining how hot it was to work outdoors now i wish id never said that.

Hi,
My child was born on september 18th 2009,

In the child's NSO certificate it shows that the father's citizenship is British (in the NSO they put my citizenship as Filipino instead of British, and I am in the process of taking legal actions to correct their CLERICAL MISTAKE). The lawyer advised me that it will take 4-6 months, and I can't wait that long to get my child here in the UK. All documentations that I need are collated thanks to the guidance of people in this forum!

Are copies of Passport and Naturalisation Ceritificate enough evidence to support that the father of the child is British.
