Perhaps from early threads you see that Edilyn was candidate for queen at school. The child that won was the kid who got the most money :Erm:

that kind of contest Gary is what we called in the Phils. Popularity /Money Contest,it is one way for schools to gain money or raise fund, the candidates(students) will give envelopes to their family, relatives and friends and they can put any amount in it, unlike with any other contest wherein there's a question and answer portion or a talent portion..though am not sure if its only in Pinas..

Well I will see if I can get photos, but Jessica stated the rest of the parents look bored, and uninterested in the spectacle.
