View Full Version : Visa restrictions for domestic helper ?

If a domestic helper arrives in the UK with her sponsor family (with a work visa), can she also “transfer”
to another employer, or is the visa purely applicable to that specific family/employer ?

Also, if the visa is granted for (example) one year, but the family then moves out of the UK before this
year is up, does the domestic helper also have to leave with them …. or can she “see-out” the remaining
time left on the visa here ?

As always … greatly appreciate any info, or thoughts of people in this scenario.

They are allowed to change employers while they are in the United Kingdom, but they must still be employed as a domestic worker.

I assume, if the family move out of UK, then they are no longer employed as a domestic worker and therefore have to leave also.
