FLR by post...

hey guys, just wanna ask if you submit your FLR aplication by post how many days before you will be informed that they received it and the schedule for your appointment (biometrics). My partner will also need to appear in person, right? I hav eto know these details cos my partner have a sched for sea trip and its better if we could arrange things out..

..... firstly, you need to be married before applying for the FLR.

After posting, about 7 days later u get a letter confirming receipt, and informing
you that u have to book a biometrics for YOU
They give u a list of centres, and u phone one & set up an appointment.

Only YOU need to turn up ...... no neccessity for partner to be there.
