View Full Version : Philippines Visitors' Visa

Whenever I've had long stays in the Philippines before, I've always just extended my 21 day Visa as required.

But since I'm now married to a filipina, do I still need to extend after 21 days? I seem to remember someone telling me that there is now some sort of "spouse" visa that allows a longer stay without having to extend.

What sort of documentation will we need show? Although we're married, my wife's passport is still in her maiden name. Also, will our 9 month old son, who has a British passport, be able to get the same Visa?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Basically if your wife's passport hasn't been amended you'll need to present your marriage certificate. Your son will be able to get the same visa if you present his birth certificate. See this previous post for further details.

This will allow you to stay for one year.
