View Full Version : Visit visa approved...! whats should i do after this?

Hello to everyone in this forum...got my visa approved in 2 days....! so with my kids to. Will be going to visit UK this coming April. After having the visa, what are the other things we need to do before going to UK?

By the way, I want to thank this site for helping me out in working on my visa application supporting papers. Thanks for sharing your ideas guys....!:)

congratulations.you just need to pack your stuffs.you dont need to attend any seminar like CFO coz thats for fiancee and spouse visa holders only.But as usual there is question and answer in the UK immigration.

Wow ... that WAS quick! :xxgrinning--00xx3: Congratulations & well done. As there's no CFO requirement for those on visitors visas, all I would suggest is that you concentrate on preparing yourself for the experience, look forward to it and enjoy!

Book ASAP. Try to book with Cathay, Gulf Air and other airlines you think good for you.
Check all your passport details, check your tickets. Check Gates, time, luggage allowance etc,

Have a safe trip!

until when is the validity of your visa? normally, visit visas are valid for six months only especially for first time visitors. if you're coming in april, that's six months from now.

you're lucky if you have more than six months, or perhaps the validity starts at a later date.

but do check it!

Hi Dondi. my visa is valid for six months and it will be from February to August. The VAC asked me to attached a letter in my application explaining why I applied a visa so early, for our planned visit in April. I guess my reasons were good, they have adjusted the validity of the visa. Been praying a lot for this.:)

I guess another point in my application is that, my fiance is here for that application. He's with me when my kids and I went to the VFS, he stayed outside though. But he stated in the sponsorship letter how important the visit will be for me and my kids, and that he is visiting Philippines again for that purpose.

My fiance lives in Reading, Berkshire. Might be visiting Devon and Highgate in London too.

Hello Nivea! Thanks... I am hoping that your application will approved,..you don't have to worry you just need to be honest with your intentions of getting there and with your documents. When will you lodge your application?:)

hello aryM! hihihi just done the online application just earlier before i went here on the forum...jeez! got problems though in scheduling an appointment..i think theres a problem with the site but i might as well call the numbers there tomorrow early as possible..hay....i cant breath...hahahaha...
