Is there some forest in the UK somewhere that I don't know about? one that grows money trees. We got enough financial problems yet we just give money away like theres no tomorrow :NoNo:

We're all familiar with the old saying urging us to "save [money] for a *rainy day". Well, today is one *such ... one of very many ... yet, here we (at least our political masters) are, letting our cashflow (pun INtended) trickle through our hands as if it were water ... :bigcry:

The article says "The funding will pay for pedestrian crossings and better road markings.", but if they give any to the Philippines it'll just end up funding a lavish lifestyle for some scumbag politician.

Has it occurred to anyone that the hordes of so called asylum seekers (normally single males) might be using their human right to drive on decent roads as justification for pitching up in the UK. Our compassionate government is trying to solve the problem at source :)

I was reading the other day the EU along with the Car makers are looking to have a special emgency transmitter in all cars so if the car breaks down or has an accident the emgency services will know where you are.
Sounds great in princple untill you think of the cost involved, the system to read and montior the transmitters will sprial out of control and your be montiored whereever you go as it will be good for our safety and the system of course is already there.
Why have a speed cameras if you can fine the person if the car can tell you..
