The FAI asks Fifa for their World Cup play-off against France to be replayed following Thierry Henry's handball.

We listened on the radio last night until half ten and the result wasn't good..hope they'll do replay hehehe!

FIFA have stated they can't call for a rematch .... yet they done it a few years back with Middle Eastern teams. :Erm:

Translated, what they actually said was "Yes we think we should have a rematch, but it may result in a big name like France being knocked out, so on that basis a rematch is not possible" :doh :action-smiley-081:
