Having been in the Philippines recently, where it was all going on, I feel like I've already had christmas...

I saw my first decorated Christmas tree and decorations of the year (apart from shops I mean) in the room in one of my neighbours lounges last night.

My local bar/restaurant (closest we seem to have to a proper pub around my way) started advertising xmas lunch in July...

Funny how things turn out! I remember one year, when I was still with my ex - who was also a teacher - plus my kids Chris and Sam - between the four of us we got close to 1200 Chrissie cards (from the schoolkids you understand.

Last Christmas I got NONE!!!
