Hello!!

Hi I thought I would try this out and see if someone could possilby assist me finding Ube ice cream. I've just visited the motherland and it has been over 30 years since I was back where I was born. The food was just excellent. Ube ice cream was the icing on top and I am wondering if there is any possibility that I can find it in London.

Anyone's advice or suggestions is very much appreciated.

why dont you try looking in a filipino store,i think theres plenty in london.

Thanks for the advice...I did that but no luck but a restaurant in London was the closest place to get Ube ice cream. I want to get it in a grocery store or super market but no joy.

Do they make Ube at the pinoy ice-cream place near the train station in ashford :Erm:

Yup,right next to staines,theres the Pinoy ice-cream place round by the station,they usually sell ice-cream at the barrio fiesta sa london,I am certain 100% they make Ube :)

would you know the name of the store? My train stops there soo maybe I can get it on my way home.

Many thanks for your help....I am going to enjoy this Ube ice cream. Too bad the weather isn't as warm as back in the Philippines. Oh well, life goes on...:-)

Hi, there is a filipina shop in "sunny" Worthing called pinoymart, bit off the beaten track, and no idea if they have the ice cream or not, sorry, but if anyone was down that way it might be worth a try...

Wow..thanks for everyone help finding me some Ube...Oh am I am going to shop and buy me some ice cream this weekend. I don't even care if it is cold, I will have some Ube and maybe some Buko Halo or Halo Halo.
