I want Blackburn to win now as they are the underdogs + Man U have won enough recently + Man City are like a new version of Chelsea with trying to buy trophies with their billionaire owners money.

And other teams have done similar before too, but the money that Chelsea and Man City have spent, still want to spend and have behind them is in a totally different league! They have a bottomless pit of money and if clubs were willing to sell & the players wanted to go they would buy THE BEST players in the world because money is no object, it's just up to the owners if they fancy splashing more cash or not. They arent normal football teams but billionaires hobbies/play things- they certainly aren't run to make profit and not make losses like any other business is, as they are making huge losses.

Similar with the Arsenal v Man city game but Chelsea had a few more first-teamers (Ballack, Joe Cole, Deco, Kalou,Malouda & Ferreira etc). It was Man City v Arsenals 2nd team and youngsters.

Football has always been like that to some extent or another, the levels of money is all that has changed, Blackburn paid top money for the players at the time, just as chelsea have done and city are doing now.

With the money generated by the champions leuge the only hope of anyone chalenging one of the established top teams is with a cash injection from a rich benafactor. And the new rules being brought in will just cement the position of the top teams and remove any hope of other teams ever winning any silverwear.

Some of the football seen over the past 10 years has been fantastic, but i do think something is missing when only 4 teams are realisticly in contention for top houners.
