Biazon to seek probe into source of Ampatuan arms

Senator Rodolfo Biazon will ask next week for a Senate investigation into who was responsible for giving a large number of arms and ammunition to the Ampatuans as these could have been procured only by the military and the police.

Not entirely true,I think Bruce Jones is still in custody after being caught earlier this year with 100 million pesos worth of automatic rifles he is alleged to have smuggled into Pinas from Indonesia,purportedly to equip a private army ,the country is awash with guns,not exactly difficult to source,blaming the army or government is just going to cloud the issue,the damage has already been done,stable,door,horse...........

From my brief understnading from Phill news media and what the BBC keep repeating although hardly means its gospel. That it was a commonly know that the goverment forces ie police and Army were beefed up when required by these mini private armies key allies of the goverment kept?

Or have they the wrong end of the stick?

I know with all news media often some misinfomation because its repeated enough becomes fact so intrested to read anyones views.
