I always thought that teams in the Premiership are trying to win it, although I may be wrong!

For quite some years only 4 teams have been targeting the win.
Then another group have been targetting a european spot.
Followed by a group of teams hoping to finish in the top half.
And finaly the teams just aiming to avoid relagation at the end of the season.

Only once they already started the season and they know how good they are, otherwise they are all aiming to win prior to a ball being kicked as no one knows any form, even the bookies get this massively wrong trying to guess form.
