Hi Folks,

Happy New Year to you all :)

My fiance will be submitting our evidence docs etc this month :)

We had a great Christmas together in Manila with her family.

In relation to the Fiance Visa fee, does that have to be paid at a bank or can it be paid at the VFS?

Also what are the additional fees ontop of the £485 fiance fee?

Ok last question......sorry getting stressed LOL My Fiance hopes to get appointment at VFS 2nd or 3rd week in January. When should she submitt the completed ONLINE Fiance application?

Thanks for help :)

Hi Angel - am planning for spouse visa application in February - I thought you had to pay the fee and submit the online form first to be able to get a next day appointment - if you make the appointment on-line. Be interested to hear the clarification too
Good luck....

what i did was, had a manager's check drafted so that i can pay at vfs... didn't submit an online application form, but had the form printed and answered it handwritten.. then i made an online appointment 2 weeks before my intended date of submission...

you will know if date is available anyway, once you clicked on the online application link in the vfs website...

hope that helps..

In relation to advance appointment my fiance needs to make an Actual appointment, because she will be flying into Manila on the day of the appointment, or if required, the day before. But preferably on the day, so she can return home to her family house in different City.

Thanks for anymore info :)

actual appointment? what do you mean by that?

well, she can take a chance and go to vfs and walk-in.. she would have to line-up as early as 5am though to get a number as priority is given to those who had set an appointment online.

btw, she can choose the day and time she wants so she can fly in on the same day and return home after the submission of her document.. but would not advise her to do that.. better if she schedule her flight at least a day prior to the date of submission... you'll never know when a flight gets delayed due to weather conditions as well as Manila traffic hoolabalooh :xxgrinning--00xx3:
