After a fantasic 4 week holiday in the Philippines, we are back to the reality of ice, snow and work! :bigcry:
It was the first time for my mother and our baby to visit the Philippines. They both had a great time!
Our first night was spent in Hong Kong, which is one of my favourite cities. Nothing can match the view of the skyline at night. :BouncyHappy:
Then in the Philippines we spent a few days in Manila before heading to Bohol for some serious relaxation in Panglao and visits to the Chocolate Hills, Loboc River, Tarsiers, etc. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
Following a couple more days in Manila, we travelled to Isabela by road to spend Christmas with my wife's family in their province and have our son Christened. :D
After seeing my mother off home in Manila, we returned to Isabela to celebrate New Year "province style" (beer, fireworks and guns), which was great fun! :NEW3:
Our final destination was Ilocos, with a road trip to Pagudpud, then on to Laoag where we stayed at Fort Ilocandia and visited Marcos in his glass coffin. Creepy! :cwm24:
Finally, we spent a few more days in Manila before heading home.
So that's it! 5 destinations, 9 flights, Christmas, New Year, a Christening, cities, beaches, posh hotels... what a great holiday! :D
