Ah well, get on the plane at 11:50pm tonight and land in the UK around 6:20am Saturday.
Always glad to get back, but always buggered as well, and need a few days rest to get over the holiday!!!! :o
Mind you, I've go to update my other web site when I get home to keep the gamblers happy ;D
Back to human food & my own bed. You never know how clean the beds are in a hotel, no matter how much you pay. We've been here 2 weeks, and they only hoovered the floor once cos we asked. Policy is to hoover only after the person has left, so if we stayed 3 years!!! :o

And A Warm welcome back to our Forum Moderator Keith and his family, yes, its back to reality, I had it on the 7th January and Keith has it now, and Rockman is coming back end of this week coming, I bet he is as happy as a p....in sh....t right now, but what goes around comes around, well folks, your forum Moderator Pete is getting close now to returning back to the land of terminal fees, bumpy bone shaking roads, and regulation mini skirts, for the purposes of The M Word.
Welcome back Keith and Ping.

You going back again Pete? When do you next fly? Flights booked yet?
The family and I are contemplating a visit during February - no plans firmed up yet though. Will be our first return visit since we all moved here last year. I've almost forgotten what it feels like to be in constant, stifling 80% humidity and pollution so thick it feels like you're walking through slurry.

End of March? We might be there too that time. Hope the big day goes well for you.
Singapore Airlines sounds like it's worth checking out. Never can resist the lure of the airport there - if ever you need to do a stopover, you couldn't find a better place to do it than Singapore!!

I take the stopover to extremes, I stop there, stay two weeks+, and come home!! ::)

We're contemplating extending the time we're in Singapore, instead of just flying straight through - but whether my wife would want to go for it (it means cutting short the visit to see the family), don't know. If we extend our stay on the way there, she'll be wanting to get it out the way to go and see her sisters - if we shorten our stay in manila to leave early and spend time in singapore, she'll feel sad we're leaving early when we could have stayed longer :).
We planned singapore in 2003 (when we were living in manila) but never got round to it - malaysia and hong kong became the limit of our travels in the 3 years we were there - almost quite shamefully poor of us :). Wouldn't mind doing singapore myself though.

SIA are doing less than £500, normaly £640 http://www.ebookers.com/afo/flights/step2....08CoyWYAACrkHHc (http://www.ebookers.com/afo/flights/step2.html?SID=Qfc708CoyWYAACrkHHc)
You can stop over for 2 nights, and do most things, it also allows you to pick up plenty of bargains.
