hi i went through a agent to apply for study visa before rulles changed 2009 april just before deadline it was refused.
i heard in october 2009 my agent appealed at no cost to me appeal still ongoing
i have now heard that they want us to withdraw the appeal and go for pbs visa
i do not think we would get that
but after 3 visits to philipines and i feel i have enough evidence of proof of relashionship we are in love and want to get married
do you think it good idear to stop appeal
will this be held against us

Do u mean your fiancee applied student visa and got refused?and you're on the process of appealing?
If she's refused why she's not holding her passport:Erm:.
if you have all the evidences in relationship and required documents for fiancee visa then go for it:xxgrinning--00xx3: use the SEARCH button on the main menu for more details on fiancee visa.
Goodluck:)

My friend experience wasn't like that when she got refused(student visa) they returned everything and when she undergo appeal procedure and succeeded it she returned her passport into the embassy and put the stamp on it:)btw it was year 2008 and she waited 8 months:doh

I believe though you would have to stop the appeal anyway to apply for another visa.
