I H8TE predictive text!!:cwm23: I've tried to understand it...I've tried to use it, but it just never seems to work easy!! It always spells the word I didn't want it to! :doh Grrr! And sometimes you can't find how to switch it off!! Grrr!:cwm23: So, predictive text, do we love it or H8TE itttttttttttttttttt!!!:cwm23::cwm23: And how come some people use it easy, and others are just :Cuckoo: with it?

hi nigel
i always use predictive when i text my husband coz i type more faster and it is easy for me.
just press * until you find the word you want to use
for example, you want a word "go" , you type on keypad 4 and 6 then "in" will come out, to change that just press * and the word "go" will come out.

Easy to use, like said above, if the wrong word comes in, you just scroll to find the one you want. Also as long as you put in words for example pet names like 'Mahal' when asked to spell them, they come up and texting is fast and easy to use.

Love it! Although now I use a blackberry with a QWERTY keypad I am just so used to actually hitting the keys I need instead of sifting through a list of letter combinations that the phone seems to bring up.

Being a product of the "old school" :olddude: texting in general [and, particularly the use of 'phonetic' language it entails] has never really appealed to ME. :NoNo: Besides, I tend to be "all fingers & thumbs" and, when contacting my family while in the Phils, I used to "dictate" what I wanted to say to my wife, and SHE would then type it into my mobile ... rather in the style of the "traditional businessman" and his secretary (e.g., "take a memo Miss Navarro ...") :76:
