this may be a stupid and obvious question but
if we do an online application will we both be able to log on to fill in the various parts of it?
so that she can fill her bits in then i log in an fill in my bits nafter she has saved her part etc
an if so are there any pitfalls or anything i would be advised to know??

It's NOT a stupid question :NoNo: ... with such a lot to think about, you're bound to be feeling a bit edgy at this time. To be honest, I don't really know the answer to what you're asking ... because my Myrna and I were BOTH in the Phils when she and I completed our respective parts - which, naturally enough, made it easier. Hopefully, though, someone else WILL be able to give you a more definite reply and, once again, my very best wishes.

All you have to do is let know the password and asked her to log out if she dont know the answer, and get log in yourself .. then if you done log out again, and she again:)

good idea but the only problem i can forsee is the time scale- i believe you only get 7 days to do it online from start to finish then have to post it over an arrange a interview/ submit the paperwork:ARsurrender:

hi ross!
the best thing to do is print out the form and fill it out then book the appointment online and print the confrimation receipt. Its easy to have an appointmnet that just be a walk-in applicant. If you have the appointment, you just trun up on your appointmnet time that walk in you have to walk when its not busy..
Hope it helps...

Hi, you can make an appointment anytime - just need to ensure that the visa fee is paid in advance of the appointment according to the VFS timescale. We booked an appointment before I flew to the phils, then forgot my husbands passport when we went to pay the visa fee, so couldn't make the appointment, we booked another but it was a week later so we walked in the next morning at 7am on the off-chance, it took 2.5hours to submit the papers - I had to sit outside and wait though. Someone with a 9.15am appointment arrived when we did and didn't have to wait for his appointment time - its good to have one to be sure, but don't get panicky about it.....
You have 7 live days to complete the form, then you need to print it or start again - I don't think you need to submit within the 7 days though.....
Ross - don't go to the embassy, go to VFS at Ecoplaza on the extension road near Magellanes...

I did most of the fiancee Visa application for my fiancee. A couple of bits needed clarification and she logged in and did it (her family details mainly), other than that it was fine.
