View Full Version : The Great Evolution Deception Final Word

You do not need to reply to this thread. I am not setting up a new thread as the moderator does not want this thread to continue. This is just for info purposes.

I haven't had a chance to visit this site for quite some time so had not previously been able to answer the many sensible comments. The purpose of this new thread is to simply state that I have set up my very own blogsite. I have set out to answer the comments on this blogsite for those of you who are interested.

I have set out to give strong evidence why the Bible can be trusted and it is in the process of answering all the comments on the evolution debate.

It also covers topics which are appropriate to agnostics, the open-minded, Christians, and to alert and warn those who are being led into deception by some unscrupulous and corrupt Church leaders.

It is less than 2 months old, so is still being developed, but still has a lot of material. My blogsite is:

development: a process in which something passes by degrees to a different stage (especially a more advanced or mature stage); "the development of ...
(biology) the sequence of events involved in the evolutionary development of a species or taxonomic group of organisms

The first I guess could relate to for example evolution of a person from baby to old age and the different stages ,abilities , experiences in that process.

The second might relate for example in the physical and behavoral changes in a species like a Wolf to all of our current breeds of Dog for example is it one or both of these you dont agree with?:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Just had a quick read of some of your latest blog posts.

The Flood of Noah’s day was the greatest catastrophe in earth history

I think the dinosaurs might disagree with you on that one. You say "Ice age" but which one? I presume you're referring to the last ice age which ended about 12500 years ago, but you say it ended only a few thousand years ago.

From another post:

Nevertheless, the Bible teaches quite plainly that the early patriarchs often lived to be nearly 1,000 years old and even had children when they were several hundred years old! Similar claims of long life spans are found in the secular literature of several ancient cultures (including the Babylonians, Greeks, Romans, Indians, and Chinese). But even a life span of nearly 1,000 years is sadly abbreviated when we consider that God initially created us to live forever.

Have there ever been fossils found that can back this up?

It would be a deception except for one tiny little flaw ..... it's TRUE :doh unless you're completey stupid and can't do simple physics, biology, chemistry and maths.

I wasn't going to get involved in this and this will be my very last word about evolution and creation on this website. However, I have to say something. Creationists look at the scientific evidence and using science and scientific methods look at possible solutions or loopholes in the way evolution is used. They have come up with some extremely well thought out solutions, using the same evidence available to all and which highlight errors in evolutionary thinking.

Creationists then put their case together to expose some of the nonsense of biassed scientists who just simply want to disprove God for selfish reasons. Creationists are open-minded in that they do not ignore or reject the evidence. However, it seems that evolutionists refuse to examine the evidence found by creationists sufficiently enough and show (actually) they are very ignorant in their attitudes - so unscientific!

Please look at these videos

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtFjGvf6QFg&feature=PlayList&p=00B9484F7C1D266B&index=0&playnext=1://

which show up how ludicrous scientists can be. Let us blame all the inconsistencies in the universe on asteroids etc eh?

So you just make statments but dont want to debate them surely if you passionately belive in something then you would wish to debate the matter to prove those who have the wrong end of the stick wrong and enlighten them?

So can you explain viruses, bacteria, plants, animals and how they dont evolve even though we have recorded evidence of it happening?

Northerner
27th February 2010, 21:11
Only creationists use the term "Evolutionary" with respect to the other sciences. Evolution is a facet of Biology, with millions of examples of evidence to prove the "theory".

Creationism is the limited scope of taking a book as the absolute truth, and why? Because it says so in the book:doh

That video link contained a blatant lie before the first 2 minutes were used up! The speaker says that the Big Bang theory is simply the theory that everything came from nothing and that all life can be explained with current scientific knowledge. the speaker is knowingly misinforming the audience.

Ask any scientist to prove to you that the "Big bang theory is true and they will likely tell you that "we're working on it" and that they are open to other theories - if one can mesh with the knowledge of the known universe. Ask a Christian/Jew/Muslim to prove that their book is the one true word of the creator, and they will simply insist it is true because it says so right there in that same book:doh:doh:doh

And then they tell you how painful hell is going to feel when you get there!

There has never been a single creationist who has EVER been able to prove their point. Either they rely on faith or try to change the meaning of the word "science" (See Ray Comfort/aka Banana-man).

Science is not a replacement for religion, as a religion. Science is simply the study of the world around us, the study of life and everything else. So if we don't know something, scientific models are worked on when it comes to things like Evolution or the Big Bang And theories are generated, debated and experiments performed as a way to either prove or disprove a theory.

Who knows, perhaps one day we will come to realize that the Big bang theory was wrong! But if we do, that will be because newer information has come our way and improved science as a whole.

But even then there will be people telling the worlds greatest minds that they fail to understand the intricacies of the bible or the Koran, and that years of scientific research does not equal a few months reading books written by superstitious middle eastern Iron age men...

Hence the reason it has the word THEORY in it :doh .... but we can see 14.2 Billion years of evolution of the Universe, you can see 10,000's of years with your naked eye.

Not as much difference as you might think - one type of virus copies itself in computers !:xxgrinning--00xx3:
Whoever created the viruses which copy themselves in cells made sure they would be successful , by giving them genes so they could evolve by natural selection. Antigenic shift results in influenza pandemics like "Spanish flu" which caused up to 100 million deaths in 1918/1919. Millions of people have died from AIDS due to a virus which mutated into HIV. Because viruses evolve, even when where vaccines are available, lasting immunity is not possible, and new antiviral drugs keep having to be developed. Facts, not opinion :xxgrinning--00xx3:

What an interesting thing to say although perhaps I should seek a definition of evolution

development: a process in which something passes by degrees to a different stage (especially a more advanced or mature stage); "the development of ...

Okay, thanks for that KeithAngel. Let me clarify. I do not believe in the way evolution is presented ie the length of time it took and how one type of animal turned into another etc. There is much evidence (which is just as convincing) in archeological finds, fossils etc which could also be argued for a much younger Earth, ie that processes can work much faster than first thought. For example (on a much smaller scale) the Durham Canyon which "suddenly" appeared after floods.

However, I do accept that evolution happens within breeds of animals (such as a vast number of different types of dogs or cats etc). But as the Bible maintains, there is enough scientific evidence to show that dogs turned into dogs, cats into cats and humans into humans with all the variety within each species.

By the way, to the one who said that my blogsite said that the bible disproves evolution. I never said that. My site does not say that evolution is a myth. It simply states that the way evolution is taught is faulty and can be shown to be so through scientific evidence.

Regarding the one who said I did not want to answer the questions. I choose not to because I have already answered these questions on my two other threads with similar titles on the great evolution deception. On those threads I was asked to bring the discussion to an end, so this is the reason I will not debate this out of respect for him.

If you really want to know my answers then please visit my blogsite. Most of you are very intelligent, so I know that you will figure a way of finding my blogspot by googlesearch on the internet (even though reference to my site has now been removed. For those not interested then don't bother.

whos having the final word?:Erm:

I'll have a go.

Scientists do not try to prove theories, they try to disprove them.

Thomas Kuhn suggested that science has paradigms which are accepted and then others try to disprove them. This then leads to a new paradigm which is likely to come from outside of that particular discipline.

If the basis of the creationists argument is that it must be true becaus it says so in the bible, then I say god doesn't exist because I say so.

Grrr.. This thread could have been good but the same old arguments pop up time and time again, and it gets boring disputing the same thing.

I am an Atheist, not because I choose to be, simply because I am! I require evidence and/or rational explanations from anyone who tells me that they know the creator of the Universe and what this creator wants us to dress like, eat, marry.. etc.

I have seen the best try their best on Youtube to convince people of the creationist argument. I have noted how the methods differ, whether they be through moral, pseudo-scientific or just good old "you're all going to Hell in a hand basket if you don't follow my way".. And as an ex Catholic, I have had enough of all three.

Anyway, here are some qustions for you John. Just have a good look at this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPmLrj0YENk):)

come on, do you really believe this is true?

john knows the reaction he will get, then it comes down to your personal belief.

but sometimes i think who is worse, is it those who believe or those who ridicule those who do believe.

I personally don't ridicule anybody for what they believe in.
However, I feel that most religious people cannot keep their beliefs to themselves; just pop into any town when the weather is good and you will walk past manic street preachers who will do their best to convert you.

I have never been accosted by an atheist who wants to convert a religious person because, in my opinion, atheists keep their beliefs to themselves except when religious people spout off.

An atheist has never knocked on my door to talk about being an atheist.
Many religious people have knocked on my door in different places.
I just tell them in a friendly way to please don't bother me on my day off.
If they persist and try to continue the conversation, I just close the door on them.

I just wish religious people would keep themselves to themselves, they would get more respect from a lot more people if they did.

just the other day someone knocked on my door, wanting to spread the big guys word, just as i was going out and i have to admit they are annoying..if i wanted to learn about god i would be in church already.

so what came first the bible or the big bang?

As an elder and office bearer in the Church of Scotland, I like to think I'm tolerant of other religions. However, I have to say that were a Mormon or Jehovah's Witness - to name but two examples - to come a-calling [uninvited] at my home ... when I was busy (or on the point of going out) ... then the "big bang" would be more of a "grand *slam" [*of my door] :D BEFORE he/she had had the opportunity to even unpack his/her bible!

Howzat for an answer? :icon_lol:

i had a double glazing man come around my house once. After 3 hours of preaching .....the hard sell tactics, I asked him to leave. He asked to use my toilet before he left, and purposely pi**ed all over my floor. :cwm23: :furious3:

Anyway, I reported him to the elders.......and he got the sack.

Moral of the story, dont p**s on my floor or I'll get you the sack :xxgrinning--00xx3::D

Got a friend who invites any and all Religious prostletisers into his home so he can try to de-convert them:D Mormons tend to run off pretty quickly when he pulls out his copy of the Book of Mormon and talk about DNA proving that Native Americans stem from Asia, not a lost tribe of Israel like that book claims. They also don't take too kindly to mentioning of their founders criminal convictions for being a fraudster:Erm::Rasp:

Before 9/11 (and for a good while after) I considered myself Apathetic, didn't know what the truth was and didn't really care either:xxgrinning--00xx3: Then after a few debates with people trying to show me the errors of my way, I became a little more forceful with my beliefs. I will happily ask a Muslim about the Christian Holy Trinity (the Koran makes it out to be God, the father. Jesus the Son and Mary the Mother:doh). Usually they won't admit the mistake, preferring to blame Christians of changing it.. Likewise, Catholics don't like being reminded of the rampant child abuse by their Priests.

I'm with Aposhark! I am fine with anyones personal beliefs, so long as they don't try to force it on me or my family. But unfortunately, that does not happen, and so Atheists are now becoming more disrespectful of Religion. Because Religious folk have had it their way for too long! And so now the Blasphemy laws are abolished, Richard Dawkins and co are having a field day..

Genesis 3:22 states, "And the LORD God said, 'The man has now become like one of us...'"

Is an interesting point for folk that take the bible as literal:rolleyes:

It looks like the program problem on my account has been resolved. Thankyou whoever sorted it out. I thought that you were trying to shut me up by deactivating me from using this site anymore. It seemed that a loss of information resulted in mutancy on this site.

This is just to say hello. But I am not back as I do not have time to debate this anymore because whatever spare time I have I spend on my blogsite. I am not allowed to give it here, but for those interested in my site (which answers all your questions) my site can be found within my profile (in the location where I am allowed to advertise it).

This IS my final word. God bless everyone who wants to be blessed by Him!

Any involvement I have in the future will be in answering questions about things like immigration stuff.

I hate to start a religious war between husbands and wives but I wonder how most of the guys on here handle their wives strong catholic religious views, if its a problem, or do you just avoid the issues, are your wives bothered by your views? And I would be interested to hear from the ladies as well, its just mostly guys seem to reply here with similar views to myself.
Just interested, coming from someone who doesn't believe in fairy tales, but doesn't mind reading a good story.

It's not an issue for us. I think she guessed early on that I have no interest in religion (or at least committing to one) so she barely mentions it these days. If we to ever have kids it might be more of an issue then on how we raise them, because I'd want my kids to keep an open mind until they're old to decide for themselves.

try telling your wife that god is a fairy tale and see what happens :Erm:, i think its in your best interest to keep her happy.

if she wants to go to church take her, it is funny that most ladies dont reply in this thread...is it because they will get told they believe in fairy tales and dont want to look stupid!, they have a veiw on it but dont post :xxgrinning--00xx3:

No, its because Filipinas are not confrontational by nature, unlike us Brits who seem to pride ourselves on being correct and right and using forums like these to exhibit how self righteous we are :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Well I know I should try avoiding the issue for my own good, but its hard to keep my mouth shut sometimes, I agree with you the issue of kids is where it will be a real problem for me, I know my lovely wife will want them indoctrinated into the Catholic ways, and I will want them to keep an open mind!
