We live in Spain.
My wife and I are covered on an E121 form, which means we both get full medical cover in Spain, paid for by UK.
I have just discovered that the cover for my wife will end 12 months after I die.
do not think that most people who would be affected are aware of this.
I do not know what the position is for widows in UK.
