got this info from the planet philippines paper.. hope to attend one of them soon... please add on if you know of any gatherings that I haven't mentioned for the benefit of the Pinays/Pinoys in the UK (especially those in Manchester!).. kapit-bisig Pinoy! yebah!... lol

2. Fiesta sa Blackpool: May 29, 8:30am to 6:30pm; The Solaris Centre, Harrowside New South Promenade, Blackpool, FY4 1RW.


3. Philippine Independence Day Celebration: June 5-6, 9am to 6pm, Morden Park London Road, Morden Surrey SM4 5DX (presented by Bayanihan UK)

4. Fiesta sa Birmingham-Midlands: June 19-20, Woodgate Valley Country Park, Clapgate Lane, Bartley Green, Birmingham B32 3DS

5. Barrio Fiesta-Yorkshire: June 27, 10am to 5pm. Roundhay Park, Soldiers Fields, Princess Avenue, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS8 2ER

6. Barrio Fiesta - London: July 17 -18, Lampton Park, London.

Went to the newcastle one yesterday, was nice but smaller than i expected and been a hot day my husband thought been inside was abit too much (poor thing)

Going to leeds today when everybody gets out of bed, looks like its going to be the hottest day of the year, so hope its fun too

We were at the Newcastle barrio yesterday also, nice to see so many people there and yes it was hot and noisy inside.

I understand it was the local council that stopped it being an outside event so had to be moved at the last minute.
