Hi AryM, you're right and you are now in your adjustment period.
UK is no longer that freezing cold as it's already Spring.
I feel what you feel as I always feel freezing even in Spring, autumn and summer.:omg::icon_lol:
The most questions I have ever asked to my husband is "when is your summer?":D
You'll probably get used to it. But me? :freezin:

You'll probably have that kind of feeling, but not as strong, until the first time that you go back to the Philippines for a holiday. Then you'll think, oh, nothings changed and the things you thought you missed you realise you don't.
But you can make the transition easier by visiting your local asian shops for Filipino Foods, subscribing to the Filipino TV channels and joining your local Filipino Groups. But this could defeat the whole object of you emigrating!

...subscribing to the Filipino TV channels....!
Save money, watch them on Youtube... and other places for free on the web...

My mate recently emailed saying he'd just come back from blackpool and it was full of gypsies and tramps. Apparently its the violent crime capital of the northwest as well - http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/blackpoolnews/Blackpool-named-39most-violent39-town.5762742.jp

Could be scousers... mancs... yorkshiremen, whatever. That's the thing with Blackpool, it's the holiday/nightlife destination for some of the norfs finest scallies. It's probably pretty tame in the afternoon, at a guess most the violent crime happens nighttime.

I take it Fred, this is more to your liking then, looks like they missed Manila bay :rolleyes:I dont live in Manila Joe..I live here in Bohol..
Now,one thing it has in common with Blackpool is that its not a place that everyone everywhere would wish to live or even visit..(thank goodness)
it is however where I prefer to live and bring up the kids..
The picture you posted of Blackpool just reinforces in my own mind why I prefer to be here...
(But that is just my own personal choice)
