Hi all, Just wanted to seek some advice about election time in Philippines. better to stay in one place in Philippines or is it safe to travel around. manila, Cebu, Mindanao (Cagayan De oro / Bukidnon).

Any info greatly accepted.

wide ranging itinery no probs in cebu just noisey loud speaker vans

mindanao depends like ever where your going and who with aviod large crowds dont get involved in politics you will befine:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Some tips:

* Don't be a part or get involved with a rally group or large group of supporters. If you see that, just avoid being close or in that crowd.

* Don't talk or involve yourself with any discussions of politics or support or no support of any candidate.

* If you are here during that election day - avoid the polls and polling places

All in all its very safe and not a big deal. If you are not interested or involved with any of that, you will not even know its happening.....(just the loud speakers in jeepneys and van,which is really really annoying!! )
