Cadburys from the UK is great. In the middle east and hot asian countries they put wax in I believe which makes the cadburys taste foul. Hersheys is yuck!

Has anyone of you tried Royce chocolates, originally from Japan, but they have branches in Singapore and now here in Manila (Greenbelt 5 and Rockwell)??? For me it's the BEST!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

I like Belgian too. Bought boxes from the chocolate shops in Bruges before and it's so nice! :Rasp: Those shop windows full of the chocolates are so tempting!

I am so sorry to burst your bubbles but you are all grappling in the dark as far as chocolate is concerned...:doh

The best chocolate that you ever have the pleasure to sample is from 3 distinct countries....:Erm:

Switzerland...

Austria...

Italy.....

They are all different but they are all perfect...:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Belgian chocolate is the best! But Swiss and Austrian chocolate is also pretty good. I also like our chocolate here in the UK. Thornton's mis-shapes are lovely... and cheap!

I've always liked Droste from Holland, have memories from a very early age of my Dad bringing it back home from business trips. Bought some over there last month.

I've also been conditioned to believe that it's apparently Belgian chocolates that are the bestest.

Is there such a word as bestest? If one is better will that be the bestestest?:Erm:

:iagree:, Both Belgian & Swiss chocolate are famed the world over - and rightly-so - but, for ME, at least, none can compete with the good, old fashioned 'CDM award' ... back in the days when Cadbury Dairy Milk truly WAS a British icon!

Superlative adjective Nigel - Best!

Good - better - best.

Al.:)

P.S. Belgian choccy for me - ALTHOUGH - I do also love Lindt!

I'm with you Arthur on that one. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

As for Tims pics, it dosen't do it for me :NoNo:...Where do you start if you go in a shop like that?...You just get confused into spending a lot of money? :NoNo:

Thorntons had a bad Easter, I heard on the radio.

The bigger the box, the bigger a selection you get and maybe more than 1 of each when you get the biggest! :Rasp: I bet they are so much more expensive now over 4 years later and with the £ crashing against the Euro! :bigcry:

I feel sick after looking at them pics :Rasp: I can only take chocolate in small doses. Never sure why people are always fans of swiss chocolate, unless you like a hole in the roof of your mouth.
