Hello everyone. :)

I got a question, i'm gonna marry in June in the philippines.

Due to timing issues i had to send in my "certificate of legal capacity to marry" from my country to the embassy in Manila, so they can put a stamp on it and send it to my fiancée. (that was the only possible way as the embassy told me).

Now, they still havent recieved it, it was sent 2 weeks ago.. I'm not too worried since it's there's 3 weeks left. I guess they should recieve it within the next days.

But the embassy then has to send the letter to my fiancée. Any1 know wow long usually it does take to send a letter from Manila to Cebu?

I'm just a bit worried that when they recieve the certificate and they'll send it to Cebu that it takes another 2 weeks or so.. because it's the philippines after all...not so fast like here :)

If u sent it via airmail it wont be long...
and did u also include extortionate fees for the British Embassy to be able to exchange your CNI/legal capacity for the local Philippine version of it?

My advice is don't send anything in the Philippines postal service. You will be on a wing and a prayer as to when it will arrive... If it ever does that is.
