Hi folks,

I recently changed my email address on the Forum.

Since then its been a nightmare. Its taken 2 weeks to actually receive the Notification email to reply to, that enables me to post messages.

However, I still cant reply to new messages in my Inbox???

Why is that? I am not a new user.....I just changed my email address??

Notification emails are sent within seconds from my server, blame you ISP or email client. You posted here so can reply. :doh

Yes I know I posted here......cause I eventually received the notification email......after having requested it for the fourth or fifth time LOL

Though I still cant reply to messages? Why is that?

You JUST have :Brick:

....and the notifications requests by you ALL got sent to YOUR ISP within seconds, I just checked the log.

Nope you miss my point LOL........yes I can reply to Posts......but cant reply to Private MESSAGES.......:doh

Ah thanks for info re ISP I guess good old Sky Broadband mess up again LOL

You never said PRIVATE messages :doh .... you need promotion.

In my original message I said "new messages in my Inbox" ;)

Anyway, I guess we know why now.....but why do I need promotion?

Cause before I changed my email address I could send Private Messages? I have made around 59 posts since I joined the Forum last year :)

I would assume that you only need Promotion if you are a new user rather than just after updating your email address?
