Well, it's been just short of 3 weeks since Yam arrived in the UK and this morning somthing dawned on me.
In the past when we've seen each other, it's always been for a finite length of time. As a result of that, I've always wanted to stay awake as much as possible during those times.
I realised this morning that I still seem to be holding on to that mentality which is playing havoc on me this week being on the early shift at work! :cwm3:
How long was it for you guys (if this happened to you) before you got out of that mentality and could relax knowing that day when you have to leave each other just isn't going to happen anymore? :)

In my case it was because the missus wanted to see everything and do everything as soon as she got here.... one of her favourite sayings still is, when she sees somewhere nice on the telly is "you never take me there" and I usually have to reply, "I've never been there myself" and I've lived here all my life. I think it takes a while to dawn on the ladies that they're not a holiday, they got the rest of their lives to see everything and do everything.
