Hello...had my identity card but haven't renew my passport yet, so my card and passport are still in my maiden name.
Now, i'm planning to renew my Filipino Green passport as it will expire on August and i want to use my husband's name on it same with my identity card but when I looked at the Philippine embassy website it says there that personal apperance is required, do we really need to go to London for that? or we can just mail all the requirements needed???
Please help.

Thanks.

just renewed my wifes passport.

sorry but you must appear at the embassy in london in person bec they need to fingerprint you and check all details with you.

it is an expensive day if you live out of london

It's irrelevant in THIS particular case, John ... since the person concerned lives in Kent - which is within reasonable commuting distance of London. But for a Filipino/a living in Scotland, it's handy to know that he/she need only travel to the Glasgow Passport Office - close to Queen Street mainline Rail Station in the City's West End. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
