The last Scottish inhabitant of No 10 has been very quiet lately, I guess he's still licking his wounds. It's a relief not seeing his scowling, dour face all over the media

That other public school boy Blair used football to show he was in touch with the saps - he could never remember who he saw playing for Newcastle though

Blair, friend to the Gallaghers :icon_lol: He soon dropped Liam & Noel when he got in to power  It's all about the votes, not what they believe in themselves.

You're right he could never remember if he was at the Marshmallowgate End and was it Keegan, Shearer, Jackie Charlton or Desperate Dan who banged in that hat trick against Sheffield Thursday

INGERLUND, INGERLUND, INGERLUND !

:doh Probably trying to curry favour with the electorate ahead of the 'tough measures' forecast, being implemented ... in much the same way as Harold Wilson "sucked-up" to the Beatles at the height of their popularity in the late '60s.

not really, the country is in such a mess that the current goverment will have to make a lot of bad choices for the public and none will be vote winners.

I don't understand the left wing media's obsession with Cameron bashing just because he went to Eton:Brick: IMHO he is quite clearly the best man to run the country and where he was educated makes absolutely no difference. The fact that he is well educated, eloquent and far more honorable than Blair or Brown surely make him a great asset to Britain on the world stage. Let's see, who would we want representing Britain at a gathering of world wide leaders, Brown or DC?
For info, Nick Clegg was educated at Westminster School, which is almost as posh, but no one seems to jump on that one. I dare say that a good proportion of the ex New Labour Champagne Socialist Expense Fiddling Parasites also had priviledged upbringings, but I really don't give a monkeys where anyone went to school. A persons ability to do their job well and honestly is far more important.

i think having a england flag waving from no10 and his footballing knowledge is in question here :Erm:

his ability to run the country as a former public school boy isnt in question yet but will soon be :D

:D

Compare a single St Georges Cross to the hordes of flag waving "ordinary folk" Blair had choreographed lining Downing Street when he first pitched up there on that grim day back in 1997 :icon_lol:
