Ilr processing times

Hi everyone!

Have just posted my ILR application last 11 June, 2010, in which Home Office took my payment already last 14 June.

My questions are :

- do i get an acknowledgement letter from Home Office that they already received my application? ( I might need it in case my work would question my visa being expired, need to submit it to them as proof)

- how long is the processing time around these period before ILR will be granted?

Hi Cheryl

We posted Lanies ILR application 7 weeks before it was due ( she delayed her travel to the UK by 3 weeks after her spouse visa was issued ) and got the confirmation letter the next week
They then issued the ILR on the day that was 2 years ( - 28 days ) from the date of her arrival here - So 3 weeks in total to get her ILR
I must say I was totally surprised as I expected at least 3 months :yikes:
