Hi, everyone :) I'm Richard and hoping to make new friends here. I'm based in Manila and a feng shui consultant by trade - the classic type not the New Age type.
Well, if anyone has questions on that or a bit of an update of events happening here in Manila I'll be glad to try my best to answer those.

Welcome to the forum richard :) I'm just curious, what's the difference between a classic and new age feng shui?

Hi, Sophie :) Classic feng shui uses all the techniques in creating a harmonious environment for one and providing options that won't burn a hole in your wallet. New Age feng shui just uses shortcuts and would resort to selling you stuff that is not only in conflict with your beliefs but also something they don't fully explain.
Example. A Kuan Kung statue WILL give you protection PROVIDED it is of the correct dimensions, materials, etc. BUT there are 2 types of this. If the main weapon is held in the LEFT hand that is used to protect a businessman in the ILLEGAL trade. For a LEGAL business the format should be in the RIGHT hand. A lot of those LEFT hand wielding statues are sold in Manila's Chinatown and the right hand version is not only a bit hard to find but also a bit more costly.
He he, I'll open a feng shui thread if a lot of folks are interested.
