Me and the princess got married May 17 , we were given a typed copy of our marriage certficate which i guess they send the other copys to the NSO in Manila to be authcenticated ??
Today she had to go back to local Muncipal to collect another copy of the above certficate and was told it needs to be taken to the NSO in Tacolban to be stamped or authroized and that she needs to come back on july 11 , does that mean the offical NSO copy will be ready ......or prehaps someone here knows the issuing process of marriage certficate .
Thanx in advance

If you were married in her local municipality, one local copy will be given to you, one for local municipality and they will send the other copy to NSO. But sometimes, it takes weeks or months for them to send to NSO and they wait for more certificates then send it as it cost cheaper for them.
If you want rush or need your authenticated copy asap, you can ask request endorsement from your local municipality. They will give you a letter of endorsement and you can forward to Director's office in Manila. At same date, you can have your NSO authenticated Marriage Cert. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
I did it before and it was quick.:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Hi mistermatty!
The Municipal Civil registry can forward the endorsement of your marriage contract to the National Statistics Office (either local NSO or main office). But it will take about a few months to get the copy of your authenticated marriage contract.
There is now called electronic endorsement and your wife can pick up the copy of your marriage contract from the local civil registrar where you got married together with a letter of endorsement to the nearest NSO. She can hand it over to the endorsement section and they will give you a stab when to get a copy of your mc on a secpa.
If you're wife is going to do that, her Local NSO will send the endorsement batch by batch to the main office of the NSO which is in Manila. And thats one of the main reason why it takes a while. They put the data on their system and you're wife can verify that through ringing the local nso like once a week if its already in their system. If so you she can get a copy.
This is just what i did to make sure everything i handed well and got receipts from every transaction. And atleast i know who to chase up for verification.
Your wife probably have to got to the Local Civ Registry to get a certified true copy of your marriage contract.
