I feel a bit awkward watching anyone squirm, yet at the same time there is some sadistic pleasure in it! I guess it's a kind of mean voyeurism?!:crazy::crazy:

What I hate - especially being a white brummy

...

is that a black person or an "asian" (people from the indian subcontinent) can say whatever they want, but white people must be PC at all times!

the first thing i have to comment on after watching that is dont trust a person that cant look you in the eyes when repling to a question. if that woman gets 2 labour leader thats the end of the labour party. whats this country coming 2 wen we have a mp making comments like she has. she is a bitch and if anybody disagres with that they are as ignorant as she is

Seems the Labour Party won't be back anytime soon - its very obvious they are a spent force, in more ways than one :xxgrinning--00xx3:.

Abbot will never be leader - it would be great if she was though, as Labour will be unelectable for many years - a female version of Michael Foot.

:Erm: why not ?
the tories couldn't get enough MPs to form the gov on their own :icon_lol:
I think if David Milliband becomes labour leader, he'll be MP alot sooner than you think :rolleyes:

Millibore :laugher::laugher::laugher:

Whichever one of that bunch of clowns gets to be Labour Leader will ensure they stay in opposition for years. Milliband was only ever any good at being Blairs tea boy.

It seems though, that all around me -- including family of mine -- Labour supporters are coming out of the woodwork.

I lost all trust in Labour years ago!

If things could only get better, then it means that you are at the nadir!

Anyway, I think once again with our new coalition government, things can truly only get better after what brown did/let happen/aided

You mean PM? :icon_lol:

Labour still haven't realised the New Reality in politics, they are still thinking they can spend, spend and worry about it later. The evidence around the world says otherwise. Face it Joe, Labour is in disarray, Brown bottled it and the party clearly have no direction or coherent policies now. I had to laugh at Ed Milliband who at the Labour Leadership hustings in Cardiff last week blamed the banks for Britains Economic troubles. Thats odd, because Brown was blaming the Yanks, and giving the banks loads of money, and now his very own advisor is saying otherwise. Labour have got a big mountain to climb. Somehow, I have a lot more confidence in the current government who are clearly taking steps to sort things out - and revealing daily the shocking amount of waste the last Government left behind. We need to face facts, Labour's legacy could not continue, and there is a need to get finances back in shape. This is the new reality. No, its not spin, its the truth. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Last night on Wales news, they was an item on how schools in South Wales are falling apart, leaking roof, etc, yet we've had 13 years of Labour to sort this out, and even worse, this happened in areas where Labour still has massive support. I remember Blair saying Education, Education, Education back in 97. At least you know with the Tories to expect leaking roofs and cold classrooms - I experienced it when I was in school in the 80's.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't she take milk away in 1971 as the Education Minister, but then when she became leader of the Tory Party, the country liked her so much they voted for her in a landslide victory in 1979 and again in 1983, even then she survived till 1990 and the Tories managed to cling onto power for another 7 years after that? Strange. :Erm:
