I'm so desperate for any type of pinoy dried fish particularly tuyo.. i was just wondering if there's any shop where i could buy it online?

...I've seen a few dried fish from Asian shops but they're more likely imported from Pakistan or India. I'm afraid that they won't be as nice as those from the Philippines..

..please do let me know in case you know somebody who can send tuyo for me by post and i'm willing to pay all the extra cost

:smileybigtmouth: thanks Steve!

Well actually, I've got a pinoy friend who delivers me pinoy products all the time although he hasn't got any dried fish at the moment...

.. good thing about him is that he offers free delivery himself straight to my house :REDancedancer08:
.. i've placed an order from pinoyminimall once few years ago and i haven't done it just yet again..

I'm not so sure about Chinese shops in Manchester if they have dried fish but I love doing my shopping in them shops as they seem to have everything..

... i might be able to go get some Chinese shopping again in Manchester soon. :68711_thanx: Steve!

afraid that i've not experienced the joys of dried fish yet, but i know where i grew up on the north east coast of scotland, nearly every house in the little village we stayed had rows and rows of fish sitting out in the sun drying (that would have been in the mid 1980's) during the summer months. so dried fish must have been a staple food item in the fishing areas of the country. dont see any one doing it now though.

See Mickey.. you should've tried dried fish few years back. You missed a half of your life. It's like eating the usual fish and chips hehe!

... it's an exotic food you see, so for me, it's like seeing a chest full of treasures if i can store a lot of tuyo in the cupboard :xxgrinning--00xx3:

EXACTLY! :bigcry:

... you have to beg to your wives to please stop frying dried fish, it has horrible smell! :Cuckoo: It's ok to grill dried fish outside during the summer.. nobody will notice the smell coming from your back garden as people will assume it's coming from the farm mock hehe!.. :laugher:

:yikes: you should've put it away somewhere safe out of her sight.. i supposed dried fish is like a drug, your wife is getting addicted on to it! You can't hide it anyway as the smell will come out from the distance..:erotic4:
... next time, get your air freshener ready...
