My appointment tomorrow is at 10am so no idea what its like. But one of the member said that it will only take 20 minutes. I really hope so.
Im feeling really anxious now and i hope they go through all the documents and would tell us if everything is okay.
Things are quite stressful at the minute. My husband just had their work meeting and its all about redundancies. The company will remove 5 out 10 but they do not have whos who.
They will know next week.
Oh my God, I hope hes not one of them as hes been working with the company for 7 years now.
And we really hope that we get the visa as we need each other specially right now....:cwm3:

Questions what in the visa application , no mention of interview or questions at this stage of the process

I submitted mine (Spouse visa) last Tuesday, it took only 20 mins.
If she arrived earlier to her appointment time, tell her to go straight in VFS office to get her a number to be called, together with a form to fill up,it's for SMS and email service, she need to put her mobile number and email address, then signature at the back.
The checklist form should be follow on how to organize the papers so it's easy for them to check it.
after that she will be receiving receipt and a purple tag:Erm:I think that's the bar code of the docs, then wait her name to be called for biometrics that takes few minutes:)
btw there's additional charges for SMS 110 pesos and courier fee 330:doh coz I want it deliver here in my town:)
Goodluck to your wife Mistermatty
and Clarice (Sillybilly) Goodluck as well:)txt txt na lang sis!..xxx

whatever they consider excessive, they'll recommend that she leaves out.
I understand your feeling mate.
My mrs spent days and days printing pages of chats and emails for our evidence ... but in VFS, they said that those pieces of evidence weren't needed.
So chill out ... :)
you don't have that to worry about :)

I will say it again ...
If in VFS they say that something you have provided isn't needed, it's not needed. They are the ones who do the processing!
Ours is not to question why - ours is but to do and die!
:)
It's ok :) nothing to be worried about.
As for Bher's situation ...I can't get my head around it... but I am sure it was an anomaly.

Exactly what i was thinking - more than meets the eye. From her words it would seem that she had everything organised properly, so why did she get rejected? Perhaps it was just the wrong person she got in the Embassy, ... I still think that instead of being fatalistic and saying "God doesn't want me to go there now", I think it would have been wiser to lodge an Appeal! If everything was in order, then there will be no problem in getting it sorted out.

she went back to the counter a few times and i dont know what was wrong with these staff!
Just a thought if the documents werent properly arrange and the applicants have made the effort to get there then i think they should give the applicants a hand with submission of the application.
I have no idea why they didnt take them photos as they know its one of the important evidences.
The staff seemed to be rushing as it was 3 pm, they havent had their luch, trying to finish off the qeue and here comes Lyn having just one bit of problem and they could not helped her.
She was even asked to go back on monday but ive asked her what was wrong. They said she didnt have her application form...so i have to show her mine and she actually have one. So i told her to go back to the counter as theres one left and they accepted her application in the end. But she didnt tell me that they didnt want them photos. If ony she told me i could have asked her to go back to that woman and demanded to take the photos as it will help big time with her application.
Ive noticed only 2 out of 6 staff were friendly. Unfortunately me and Lynn went to the miserable ones!
It was such a stressfull day for me and Lynn.
I would say i had a bad experienced at the VFS.
O well never mind as long as its done now..just waiting for the result. I hope this time the visa processor will be too kind enough to consider and will grant our visas!
Fingers cross!

Yes they were! Miserable, grumpy and rude!
And besides she was the last applicant anyways and they should have asked Lyn to show all the papers that shes got on her hand so they could find the application form rather than asking her to come back on monday! All the staff were Filipino and they should be helping and guiding us to be able for us not to waste another time from coming back. Lyn told me that she lives in Tacloban and thats too far and shes made a lot of effort to get there on time just to have that kind of treatment.
A few people were quite scared to these 2 staff.....i wanted to look for their boss to complain that miserable cow but i just have to keep my head down as it might just cause problems or delays with my application.
