The Taliban are a bunch of barbarians, their ways are nothing short of medieval. I cannot understand how any country, even a muslim country can allow such a thing as stoning for such trivial issues.

With the Taliban still roaming about, a failed democratic election and a lack of military support from NATO countries, I guess the nuke button is the easy way out - if you ignore the fallout afterwards. I wish I could see hope for the Afghan people, but I think when the US pull out, the Taliban are just going to come back again, running over the hills across the country. Then we will ask "what was achieved?".

I like the Chinese way - parade the condemned crims around the pitch at half time wearing a placard detailing their crimes, then take them out to the car park and put a bullet in the back of their head. Quick, cheap, no jails, no playstations, no early release.
