I have read some posts and i have chatted to some members to compare notes. I have submitted all that is on the checklist plus i added more (like proof of other income).
Best of luck on your wife's application. When is she going to lodge her application?

hi pepe n pilar, congrats!!!!
Just wondering if u done it by post or personal??? i will apply next month and planning to have it in person because of the time waiting if chooses by post...but if only 13 days though depends on individual circumstances that's pretty nice to hear that can be days waiting than months...I been told that it's really hard to book for personal appointment???? hope to hear from the experienced others...thnx

To Kalabasa - employed or unemployed>? that i'm not sure if it's being asked in the appl form. Pls visit the website. There is a page abt finances so whether you're employed/unemployed as long as you can provide the documents they are asking then perhaps there is no reason for the denial. There is also a checklist of the documents to be submitted. Some members can share their experiences abt this.
To sars notd virus,stem298, steviec, pat & jta - many thanks
jta - i applied by post July 16 and rec'd a notice on July 19 my appl has been rec'd.
The date of approval - July 29
expiration of my FLR - Aug 12
