Hi, does anyone know if the British Embassy in Manila insist on NSO certificates (for such things as births, marriages, annulments and deaths) when assessing settlement visa applications for Filipino fiancees or do they just accept the certificates issued by relevant local authorities in The Philippines? Yes, it clearly states on the application checklist that the certificates are to be from the NSO. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Yes, they do... to avoid duplication and falsefication of citizen identities...
