what's that all about ?, i read somewhere that people have to post so many messages to get full access, doesn't that just invite trash, spam or one word statements to get up to 'x' amount of post's?

well that's why there are Mods so that posts of these newbies are monitored first before being posted

I do feel that these measures are slowing down the sucess of this site and it reaching its full potential , i have been a member for nearly 10 months with a few hundred posts and am personally known to at least a couple of members here and still dont have PM rights etc etc

Mistermatty could have had PM's yonks ago but hasn't posted anything people have thought good enough to be given Rep for. It's the same requirements for everyone, and if you don't like it blame the minority that abuse the system and force these measures in place.
