in this day and age and with all the technology, im suprised that pirates can take a ship of that size as the pirates boarding along side them are in boats that are just like clapped out old bancas.. still i suppose the yanks and western countries still have a lot to learn about the people from countries like somalia, iraq and afghanistan..

There's no point in treating these vermin with kid gloves, they only understand violence. Many Western Navies (including our own) are either too hamstrung by politicos back home to deal with them robustly or merely let them go. If it's un pc to shoot them they should be given a crippling going over with boots and bats.
