A teacher asked her class to describe the word 'Contagious'

Here are 3 replies:

Little Roland: "Last year I had measles and my mum said it was contagious"

Teacher: "Well done, Roland!" :appl: "Now, can anyone else try?"

Little Katie: "There's a bug going around :woohoo: and it's contagious"

Teacher: "Good for you, Katie!" :appl: "Anyone else want to try?"

Up pipes little Irish Sean: "Our next door neighbour is painting his house with a two-inch brush ...

... and my dad said 'it'll take the contagious!' ..."

Teacher: ... :spank:

:68711_thanx:, mate! Guess others must've been "shocked" :cwm24: too, that one of the Moderators could be so "immoderate" ... 'cos yours is the first - and only - response to what I, also, thought was quite funny! :xxgrinning--00xx3:

:Erm: ... this IS the open forum, Al! Well ... anyway ... ahem ... imagine the Irish pronunciation of the first :censored: part of the word; likewise the rest of it "ages" ... pronounced "agious". But I strongly suspect you knew that already! :icon_lol:
