Talaga !

My ex wife is from Ragay.

I have been to Naga many times (and on the skate before the highway was built).

LOL! I was born and raised in Naga (well, there and in Makati so take yer pick). I miss the place!!! I must admit, I've never ridden a skate (rode the train a few times when I was a kid though).:D Mmmmm.. I'm gonna go home someday and eat kinunot, kinalas, gulay na natong, toasted siopao, bali-gang, paksiw na baka, pinangat, biniribid, and a whole truckload of other delectable local fare!

Sorry about your pet pig, purple. I've never had a problem with slaughter and the butchering of animals. My dad used to slaughter sheep or lambs behind our house in Naga. I bet I'd have cried my little eyes out if someone had killed and eaten my three roosters though. :omg:

I've ridden the train too, from Manila to Ragay and back....and before the Australians improved the line a bit.

Now that was a 17 hour adventure.
Bus was nearly as bad...pre-highway. :yikes:

I've also driven from Subic down to Naga and back again. About 500 miles total.

Never driven on the 'wrong side' of the road before that, but I don't think it makes much difference in the Phils, eh ? :icon_lol:

Been on the plane to Naga a few times too.

Here's above Ragay/Naga area from 18,000ft...pretty tough place to build roads and railways.:)

Haha! I knew the terrain was bad for building roads, but I didn't realise we had so many ridges. I've only flown to/from Naga a couple of times, but I was too young to remember what it looked like. My family tends to take the trip to/from Manila as one long road trip. We pack sandwiches, books and cold drinks, and leave in the morning so we can be at our destination in time for dinner. I'm guessing though, when you drove 'pre-highway', it wasn't as enjoyable as what I remember.:icon_lol:
